Fresh Lavender Bouquets from about May 25 - July 4

Very full fresh lavender bouquets are offered from about Memorial Day through July 4th or so from our farm. (Please inquire about availability before ordering.) RESERVE YOUR FRESH LAVENDER FOR 2010 WEDDINGS NOW. PRESERVED BOUQUETS AVAILABLE ALL YEAR LONG. As the herb that symbolizes devotion, joy and luck, lavender is perfect for weddings and celebrations. Lavender overnights to any destination perfectly and is some of the first to bloom in the US for May and June weddings. Two bouquet minimum to receive the best rates. Overnight shipping fees are determined based on destination. Estimate 1 lb. per bouquet. Fed Ex delivers for the farm. Go to www.fedex.com for estimates from your zip code to get a shipping estimate from 27278. Fed Ex shipping is due prior to shipment and payable via PayPal. (The Shopping Cart automatically calculates standard shipping, which will be deducted from the additional overnight shipping total.) Once received, immediately refrigerate. Do not place the fresh lavender in water. Doing so just contributes to the flowers quickly falling off of the stem. Just place in a cool spot out of direct sunlight until the event. Generous bunches, 100-150 stems, depending upon bloom stage. Fresh lavender can be easily preserved by hanging up-side-down in a hot, dry location for 10-14 days, as a keepsake. Lavender bouquets are lovely and fragrant all year long! Just spritz preserved bouquets with water, place in a steamy bath, or rub the florets to release the sweet scent. Preserved Lavender Bouquets

The scent that just keeps on giving! The herb of devotion, joy and luck, it is wonderful to share. Pure lavender, with no artificial fragrance, these bouquets make nice gifts. If lavender sits idle, it will have a subtle scent. The lavender florets need to be activated in some way to regenerate the fragrant oil. Hang in the bath where the steam will bring out the fragrance or rub along the flowers from time to time. Placed where the sun will warm them will bring out the their lovely scent too. (Keep in mind that the flowers will fade in sunshine over time.) Fragrance will last at least two years! Generous bunches of about 150 stems measuring 18-22" in length.
